Every weekend on Saturday Hemi’s dad reminded him to mow the lawns.”mow the lawns Hemi or you won’t get your pocket money” Hemi’s dad said.Then Hemi grabbed his red wallet and had a look inside but all there was were a few ugly, noisy flies.But just at that moment a splendid idea popped into Hemi’s head he made a robot lawnmower
So that night Hemi went into the shed and found some things to make a robot lawnmower he found his dad's nose hair trimmer!, some old guitar strings to tie it all together, a blender, a pair of scissors, a laser pointer, and an old computer. That night Hemi went into the shed and started building his robot lawnmower when he finished he said alive!!! but just after that it blew up and Hemi said oh, maybe not quite alive yet. The next morning Hemi got up and dragged his mystery robot onto the lawn and pulled off the sheet. Then he pulled out the remote control and typed in start mower send and the robot awoke and started to mow the lawns.
When the mower was half way through it’s job Hemi had a drink of Fanta and fell asleep in his chair to the sound of the drone. In about half an hour Hemi was woken to the noise of a big crowd yelling ohhhhhhh! Hemi’s robot was nowhere to be seen.
Hemi had to find his robot he ran all down town to search for it until he found the people yelling but they weren’t frustrated they were pleased with his invention and they made their own robot lawn mowers and then there were lawnmower robots all over town.
